Our center was established in 1974 as an outreach service within our community. We are a faith based preschool program with a focus on conscious discipline and learning through experience. In addition to our academic curriculum, we use “Play N Worship” to teach non-denominational familiar Bible stories and concepts. Our program is designed to be a fun, safe, and well-rounded experience to help prepare children for kindergarten academically as well as socially and emotionally.

 

Our curriculum offers monthly themes and are used to introduce new subject matter and enrich learning. All the children explore learning centers both independently and with teacher guidance. Our learning centers within the classroom include: Language, math, science, writing, sensory tables, dramatic play, cozy corner, super center, table toys, blocks, free art, and art easel.

 

Our teachers have been trained in Conscious Discipline. This helps us create a “school family” where children feel safe and learn how to control their emotions and communicate their feelings in a positive way. We also plan family activities and field trip throughout the year.
